I loved taking time for me. I enjoyed getting my hair and makeup done and taking time to think about why I am beautiful was amazing. These pictures helped me remember who I really am and what really matters. I enjoyed feeling so pretty and like a super star for a day. The whole my beauty campaign is amazing. I hope everyone gets a chance to do the whole program. I am excited to keep going with it. –Christina

This has helped me realize I am Beautiful because I am different. I learned I need to embrace what I have and see goodness, not dwell on what I felt were my faults. It has been an eye opening journey. I am so happy to have the opportunity to take it! –Alisha

I used to have something against being too girly because somewhere along the way growing up I got the idea that I would never look that pretty, that trying to look pretty is shallow, and that I should just be plain or even somewhat masculine. I have learned that I only felt that way because I thought my true, natural self that is feminine, gentle, and subtle wasn't good enough.
Through my Beauty Transformation and other great resources, I am becoming much more comfortable in embracing my true nature and allowing myself to feel pretty. I actually had fun dressing up and knowing that I looked good during my photo shoot. The pictures will be a great reminder of what I have learned and something I can show my kids while teaching them they are wonderful and loved just being themselves. I don't have to be like anyone else - I am still me, and I am my own version of beautiful. – Jessi
June 12, 2013The MBC was truly a transforming experience for me, as well as my boyfriend. (I am in a happier mood which means so is he!) I loved getting the chance to focus not only on all the beautiful things inside of me but in my life as a whole. I suddenly have all this crazy confidence! I wake up each day happy to look in the mirror, and excited to share all the good I have to offer with the world. Feeling good about who I am alows me to spend less time worrying about how I look everyday, and more time on things like my son and my relationship! I expect as I look back at the images from my photo shoot I will be reminded of how blessed I am, and what a wonderful life I have. I wish this experience on every woman because they deserve to know of themselves what I have learned about myself- that I am beautiful! – Emma

Through this Beauty Campaign I have learned that I am different from what I thought I was. Before this program, when I would look at pictures of myself I could only see everything wrong with myself. But, now after getting to know myself better through the Beauty Campaign I see me differently. At the photo shoot my photographer, Sara, said something along the lines of releasing all of my insecurities. I tried that and I felt amazing! I think this program definitely helps women understand themselves and recognize their true beautiful self. I know it has helped me and I recognize my true beautiful self more and more everyday. I am grateful for this opportunity I had to do my beauty session. – Madison

I used to want to be a model, you know, like one of those super models who always look fantastic. Well, they don't always look fantastic. In fact without the right makeup, lighting and styling, they can look quite plain. During my beauty session I felt like a beautiful model. Beauty comes from the inside and radiates to the outside. Even though I'm not a young mom and have become a young grandma, I can view these wonderful photos to remind me of my true beauty and worth. The photos from my session become the images of how I see myself in my mind's eye - full of life, beauty and love. – Jennifer

Sara was great to work with, she arranged a time that worked for me and a location that would be easy for me to get to. She was gentle and patient with my baby and the photos were beautiful. She didn't mind when we had to stop part way through for a feeding.

I asked Sara to take some outdoor head-shots with me and my violin, and I'm very happy with the results. She was well prepared, had a helper to hold a screen to prevent shadows/reflect sunlight, and was at the location a while before I got there. She was also quick to get the pictures online and send me the link to the album, so I could see all of them and pick out the ones I liked the most. If I need need a photographer to take more portraits in the future, I'll definitely going to go back to her.

Sara did an amazing job on our newborn pictures. She had many ideas on props & poses, and the pictures turned out great.
